Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using RewindBack ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age required to use X (Twitter) in your jurisdiction — to use RewindBack.

2. Service description

RewindBack is a web application that connects to the X (Twitter) API to sync, search, and organize your bookmarked posts. The Service accesses your X bookmarks in read-only mode — it cannot post, like, follow, or modify anything on your X account. Features, usage limits, and supported platforms may change over time.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any connected third-party integrations. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share, transfer, or sell access to your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) misuse or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (b) attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service; (d) use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation; (e) use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service beyond normal usage; or (f) circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.

5. Billing, trials, and cancellation

RewindBack offers three paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Max) with monthly and yearly billing intervals. Each plan includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price unless canceled before the renewal date.

You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Upon cancellation, your access continues through the end of the current paid period. No pro-rated refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; RewindBack does not store your payment card information.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party platforms including X (Twitter) for bookmark data, Clerk for authentication, Convex for data storage, and Stripe for payment processing. Changes to these platforms' availability, APIs, or terms may affect the Service. RewindBack is not responsible for third-party service outages or policy changes outside our control.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by RewindBack and its licensors. Your bookmarked content and any notes or tags you create remain yours. You grant RewindBack a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, specific outcomes, or that the Service will be compatible with future changes to the X platform.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RewindBack and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to RewindBack in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and disconnecting your X account. Upon termination, your stored bookmark data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account or through an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
